Winegars Clearfield, Utah 2013
How do you change the flooring in a functioning grocery store?
Stone Touch was tasked with solving that problem. The owner felt that the cost of maintaining the existing VCT floor was too high so they elected to go with a polished concrete floor.
We isolated sections of the floor, then starting at 11pm we removed the VCT, ground the glue off, polished, colored, and sealed the floors and re-opened the areas at 6am

Star Mill American Fork, Utah 2016
The award winning Star Mill project is the renovation of an 1887 historic mill in American Fork, Ut.
The original concrete was not suitable for various reasons so a new slab was poured over the existing concrete.
In order to bond the 2 slabs an epoxy bonding agent was spread and new concrete was placed over the wet epoxy. Once cured the slab was polished. Some of the original concrete was stained and sealed.
